I love my father. I learned so much from him as a young artist that by the time I reached adulthood he was not only a mentor, but a collaborator. We ran a fine arts publishing house called "Editions in Cast Paper." We published for some of the bigger names on the art scene. Primarily, we would create editions of low relief (cast in cotton rag) for artists such as Victor Vasarely, Yaacov Agam, René Gruau, and Hanna Barbara. I have also collaborated with others including Peter Max, Stan Lee, and my father, Frank Gallo. Though rewarding, over time these collaborations proved a distraction from fully embracing my artistic vision. Now I am at the helm of the Gallo brand name and can fully focus on making art that I love.

This need to discuss through art, the importance of human lineage, how the past affects the future, and how the future looks at the past all come together for me now. Jimi Hendrix has always held a special place to me as an artist and his influence on my guitar playing. I also credit him as a fashion icon having shaped how I think visually about style. His sound is of another dimension. It is my wish to share my respect of him and to honor his contributions to the world through this work.
