Additional works this month are by Seattle ceramic artist Randolf Silver. Also an award winning artist, Silver has a unigue approach to his "fossil fueled" creations using an interesting glaze that mimics rust and leaves you with an element of surprise when you find out that they are actually ceramics.
Silver is a member of NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts) which will hold its 2012 conference in Seattle near the end of the month called "On the Edge".
We will host an additional Opening Reception on March 29th in coordination with BAM and other showrooms hosting NCECA artists.
