Born in the Ukraine in 1950, Karnaukh grew up playing a variety of games and sports. His paintings today represent these fun filled times of childish play and competitive enthusiasm.
Well educated in Fine Arts, Karnaukh has a unique sensitivity and sophistication towards handling the oil on canvas as he combines his sense of abstraction and representation.
Victor Karnaukh currently resides in Riga, Latvia, but makes a visit yearly to Seattle.
